Getting Started
How does the process start?
Once you confirm your shipping address through the template we send you, we’ll ship one box with 2 testing kits inside within 5 business day.
How long will it take to receive the kits?
Delivery time depends on your location:
- Within the U.S.: Typically 2–4 business days
- Outside the U.S.: Usually 4–7 business days, but this may vary depending on the courier and local customs
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
If you’re based in the U.S., there usually shouldn’t be any shipping cost. However, if there are any additional charges, please send the receipt to nataliia@elyside.com and we’ll fully reimburse you.
If you’re outside the U.S., customs duties or import fees may apply. If so, just email us the receipt at nataliia@elyside.com, and we’ll fully reimburse you.
After You Receive the Kit
When should I complete the test?
We recommend you complete the tests as soon as possible after receiving them. Please ensure:
- You are fasting (no food for 8–12 hours beforehand)
- You are not sick
- You are not on antibiotics
Do I need to register the kits myself?
Nope! We’ll handle all kit registration for your comfort. Nothing else is needed from your side.
Submitting Your Samples
How do I submit my samples?
🇺🇸 If you’re in the U.S.:
All kits come with prepaid return shipping and a return label.
- Follow the packing instructions provided in the kit
- Seal the sample securely in the original packaging
- Drop it off at your local courier:
- USPS: Place in mailbox, hand to mail carrier, or drop at USPS location
- UPS: Bring to UPS Access Point or drop in UPS drop-box
🌍 If you’re outside the U.S.:
- Please use UPS to return your samples
- All kits include a return address — simply pack the sample securely using the original packaging
- Ship it using a local UPS courier
- If you incur any shipping costs, send the receipt to nataliia@elyside.com and we’ll fully reimburse you
How will I get my results, and when?
We’ll email you as soon as your lab results are ready. Exact turnaround times vary by test:
🧬 TruDiagnostic (Epigenetic Test – TruAge):
- Usually within 3 weeks after the sample arrives at the lab
- In some cases, processing may take up to 4 weeks
🧫 MyBioma (Gut Microbiome – Stool Test):
Results are typically available within 10–15 business days from sample arrival.
What if the lab rejects my sample or the test doesn’t work?
No problem! We’ll send you a replacement kit for free if your sample can’t be processed.
Should I let you know when I’ve done the test?
Yes, please! Message or email your coordinator Nataliia (nataliia@elyside.com) the same day you complete the test — this helps ensure smooth processing.
What if I can’t ship my sample the same day?
No worries! Here’s how to store your sample before sending it, depending on the test:
🧬 TruDiagnostic (blood)
- If not shipping the same day, store it in the refrigerator (2–8°C)
- Do not freeze
- Ship within 24–48 hours after collection
💩 MyBioma (stool)
- Contains a stabilizing solution — no refrigeration required
- Store at room temperature, away from heat or direct sunlight
- Ship within 3–5 days after collection
